George's Pie Crust

3 cups sifted Flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 1/4 cup Shortening or Lard or Butter

Mix together with fork or pastry blender until forms pea-sized crumbles.

5 tablespoons COLD water
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 egg (optional)

Mix together mix together wet ingredients and add to flour and shortening mix.
Gently combine, form into ball, and roll out as desired.
Makes two crusts.
Never fails to make a flaky tender crust.
